Dare to Differ provides support to school age children and young people at various points of need. We promote secure attachments to be formed and provide strategy led support for a healthy development of young people’s wellbeing throughout the life of their support and beyond.
Our aim is to reduce future needs by providing support when first identified be it, behavioural emotional or more complex in nature. We have a range of programs ranging from 1:1 support to our Crisis Intervention Program and Home Support. Our support is immersive, designed to incorporate practical, manageable and inclusive tools and support. Our aim is to support young people and their families or teachers to be able to manage a range of behaviours and feel empowered to be able to do this together as a unit.
We use our diagnostic evaluation and assessment tools throughout to ensure the child or young person identifies behaviours themselves and can go on to manage it independently beyond the life of our support.
Dare to Differ has created a new program that focuses on the recovery of wellbeing for young people following the impact of the COVID 19 Pandemic. Please click the button below for our information sheet that gives more information about the Revive Program and the criteria for referral.
